Baler, Aurora —The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Aurora Provincial Office successfully conducted its Public Safety Continuity Plan (PSCP) Updating on 12 December 2025 at DILG Aurora Provincial Office to ensure the continuity of essential public services during emergencies and disasters.
The initiative responds to Republic Act No. 10121, mandating a whole-of-government approach to Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM), and NDRRMC Memorandum No. 33 s. 2018, requiring government agencies to formulate and submit Public Service Continuity Plans.
“This effort strengthens our institutional preparedness not only to withstand hazards but to ensure that our constituents continue to receive critical services—even during adverse events,” said DILG Aurora Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero.
“By determining the risks, we are enhancing our organizational resilience and continued services for our clients,” he added.

The updating of the PSCP is part of DILG Aurora’s ongoing commitment to disaster-resilient governance, ensuring that the Provincial Office is able to respond, recover, and continue operations in the face of calamities promptly.
The institutionalization of the continuity plan signifies and reinforces the proactive, reliable, and service-driven government employees of the department.
