Throughout the sessions, participants were introduced to real case scenarios, proper documentation, community mapping, client assessment, and ways to build support systems for individuals undergoing rehabilitation. For the SBIRT trainees, the focus was on identifying early signs of substance use, conducting brief interventions, and knowing when and where to refer clients for further treatment. These activities helped the participants gain confidence and practical skills they can use in their daily work.
