BALER, AURORA — The Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT) of DILG Aurora conducted an inspection of the construction of the PHO storage facility and dedicated vaccine room located inside the AMH compound in Barangay Reserva, Baler on November 13, 2025.
The team was led by Engr. III Kenny Jean N. Iniwan and ADAS II Ricah Joy V. Serafines of DILG Aurora. They were joined by representatives from the Provincial Engineering Office, Assistant Provincial Engineer Hazel P. Alulod and Engr. Kevin Dexter Peneyra.

During the site visit, the group checked the ongoing works and noted that the project has made significant progress since the last inspection in October. Even after being hit by several typhoons including the Super Typhoon Uwan, the project remained standing. From 11% completion, it has now reached 23%, showing steady development.
Engr. Alulod noted that their office made efforts in securing the project in preparation for the incoming natural disaster as well as made assessments after its landfall. “Nagpunta kami doon sa mga project namin. [...] So far, doon sa mga ongoing projects namin, wala namang problema. [...] Wala namang nasira dahil maaga silang nakapaghanda,” she stated.
The facility, which has a ₱3,000,000.00 budget under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF) of the Provincial Government of Aurora for Fiscal Year 2024, is considered an important investment for the province’s health services.

Once completed, the new building will provide a secure storage area for essential health supplies. It will also include a dedicated vaccine room designed to keep vaccines at the proper temperature, ensuring they remain safe, effective, and ready for public use.
The inspection concluded with positive feedback from the monitoring team, who encouraged continued coordination to keep the project on track.
