Maria Aurora, Aurora – Important infrastructure projects, funded under the FY 2024 SBDP, are moving forward in Maria Aurora, bringing much-needed improvements to health and transportation for residents.
The residents of Barangay Diome and Barangay Debucao will soon have access to better healthcare facilities. Their new health stations, each station funded with P2.5 million for the 1st phase of the project, are now 100% complete.
With Phase 2 construction already underway, these new health stations are expected to be ready for use in the coming months. They will offer more space for quality health services, solving a long-standing challenge of small, cramped facilities.
Meanwhile, the construction of the Bagtu Health Station, funded with P5 million, is also in progress and currently 21% complete.
In Barangay Diome, the construction of the Farm-to-Market Road, funded with P5 million, is progressing and currently 20% complete.
The project ran into minor issues that were recently spotted during the monitoring visit. The DILG Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT), led by Engr. Kenny Jean Iniwan and assisted by ADAS II Ricah Joy Serafines, along with the Maria Aurora Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) members, led by Engr. Lourdes Ellamar, called attention to these problems to ensure that the road is being constructed properly in accordance with the plan and standard to help farmers and residents transport goods more easily.
Overall, the SBDP projects are making clear progress, promising better facilities and connectivity for the residents of Maria Aurora.
