Baler, Aurora — The Philippine Councilors League (PCL) – Aurora Chapter has elected its new set of officers for the 2025–2028 term during the federation elections held on September 5, 2025 at AMCO Beach Resort, Brgy. Sabang, Baler, Aurora.

Hon. Mara S. Cayetano of Casiguran, Aurora was proclaimed as the new Federation President after running unopposed. By virtue of her election, she will also serve as an ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Aurora.

The proceedings commenced with a short assembly, which included the recognition of members who have completed three terms of service. This was followed by the filing of candidacy and the election proper, facilitated by DILG Aurora Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero. The process was witnessed by PCL National Vice President Hon. JC Parker-Aguas, with Ms. Rachel Sindac, representative of the Office of the Secretary to the Sanggunian, and Hon. Ace Javar as EleCom member, serving as the election committee.

The activity concluded with the oath-taking of the newly elected officers, marking a new chapter for PCL Aurora. Guided by their shared commitment, the League is ready to strengthen the voice of every councilor, uphold unity among its members, and champion responsive legislation that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of the people of Aurora.
