Dilasag, Aurora — The onsite assessment for the 2025 Local Legislative Award (LLA) officially commenced today, September 10, 2025, in the Municipality of Dilasag, Aurora. The assessment will cover all eight municipalities of the province and will run until September 17, 2025.
Leading the provincial onsite assessment is the Provincial Assessment Committee (PAC), composed of members and representatives from the following organization and offices: DILG Aurora Provincial Office, VMLP Aurora Chapter, PCL Aurora, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Social Welfare and Development, and Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office. The assessment team will verify documents and assess the real impact, innovation, and responsiveness of local laws throughout Aurora's municipalities.
The Local Legislative Award, spearheaded by the DILG in partnership with the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) and the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines, recognizes the exemplary performance of Sanggunians in legislating measures that help build the foundation of meaningful local administration and development.
