On February 18, 2025, the DILG Aurora Provincial Project Monitoring Team (PPMT), in coordination with local functionaries, conducted site inspections for the Opening and Concreting of Farm-to-Market Roads (FTMR) in BARANGAY Bagtu and Barangay Cabituculan East under FY 2024 LGSF-SBDP program. These projects aim to improve accessibility for local farmers, enabling them to transport their products more efficiently and safely.

In Barangay Bagtu, the project includes opening and concreting a 5-meter wide and 331-meter long road, directly benefiting its 70 farmers and other residents going in and out of the barangay. On the other hand, Barangay Cabiticulan East, a 5-meter wide and 139-meter long concrete road will be constructed with grouted riprap, providing 90 farmers with a safer and more reliable route for their agricultural activities.

Following the field validation, an exit conference was held to discuss the findings, ensuring that these infrastructures meet the required standards and will be maintained for long-term sustainability. The concreted roads are expected to boost agricultural productivity, improve economic opportunities, and enhance the overall quality of life for farmers in both barangay.
