Garnering a total score of 93%, the dedicated efforts of the Sangguniang Bayan Members of Dingalan, Aurora headed by VM Edgardo R. Galvez were recognized as they were awarded as FIRST PLACER during the ARAW NG PAGKILALA 2024: LLA Awards for Outstanding Sanggunians (Provincial Level) on February 18, 2024, at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, as part of the weeklong Aurora Day Celebration.

Sangguniang Bayan of Maria Aurora headed by VM Amado M. Geneta and the Sanguuniang Bayan of Baler headed by VM Pedro M. Ong Jr., with the scores of 92.33 and 88.50 respectively clinched the 2nd and 3rd place for the same category.
The main goal of LLA is to honor and recognize the remarkable achievements of the Sanggunians in the area for legislating measures that help build the foundation of meaningful local administration and attainment of desirable socio-economic and environmental outcomes.
The LLA also aims to recognize the valuable contributions and accomplishments made by these individuals within their respective municipalities, in accordance with the standards set by national organizations like PCL, VMLP, and DILG.
On the other hand, SBs of Dipaculao and Casiguran ranked 4th and 5th.
The 8 Sangguniang Bayans were evaluated through the following criteria: responsiveness of the legislative agenda, availability of legislative documents, effectiveness and efficiency of performance of the Sanggunian, legislative citations and awards and capacity development of legislators and staff.
